Treva Ann Pietschman, 88, of Sandusky, passed away Wednesday, January 22, 2025, at Parkvue Healthcare Center.

She was born November 10, 1936, in Defiance, the daughter of Donald Brillhart Bidlack and Pauline A. (Foltz) Bidlack.

On July 26, 1958, she married Dr. William E. Pietschman, D.C. They had a wonderful marriage lasting 43 years. Treva graduated from Continental-Palmer High School, Continental, Ohio, in 1954 as salutatorian of her class. She received her bachelor's degree in education from Bowling Green State University. She taught for Sandusky City Schools for 30 years, primarily kindergarten and first grade.

Treva was a wonderful mother, survived by three children, William John Pietschman (Cindy), Paula Ann Pietschman Dwyre (Matt), and Robert Todd Pietschman. She is also survived by her sister, Mary Jo Bidlack Geary (Doug, deceased); stepgranddaughter, Amanda Gregor; and twelve grandchildren, Teresa Pietschman, William Robert Pietschman, Heidi Pietschman, Madeleine Pietschman, Gretchen Pietschman, Amy Dwyre, Jimmy Dwyre, Jack Dwyre, Robert Pietschman, Jr., Samuel Pietschman, Maxwell Pietschman, and Donny Pietschman; and six great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William E. Pietschman, October 27, 2001; sister, Twila Mae Bidlack; and special friend, Wilbert N. Deal, May 26, 2012.

Cremation will take place. Visitation is from 5-6 p.m. Wednesday, January 29, 2025, at Toft Funeral Home & Crematory, 2001 Columbus Ave., Sandusky. A service will be at 6 p.m. with Chaplain Mel Sayler officiating. A graveside service will take place Thursday, January 30, at 11 a.m. at Oakland Cemetery, Sandusky (Section V, beside her husband).
