Trudy L. (Blake) Glass, 77, residing in Sandusky, passed away Sunday, January 26, 2025, at Providence Care Center.

Trudy was born on April 20, 1947, in Paris, Kentucky, to the late Herbert and Lucy Elizabeth "Betty" (Rowe) Blake.

Trudy graduated from Sandusky High School in 1965. She was employed at Lasalle's Dept. Store, A&P Grocery Store, IGA/Foodliner Grocery Store, Jupiter Dept. Store and Dr. Bingham's office. In her spare time, she enjoyed traveling, puzzles, reading, gardening, volunteering in her children's classrooms/daughter's Blue Birds group and she loved and adored her pets.

Throughout the years Trudy battled with multiple health issues and displayed unwavering strength and resilience, fighting with determination and grace until her final moments.

Trudy is survived by her husband, William "Bill" Glass Jr. She is also survived by her daughter, Amanda "Mandy" Martin; grandson, Tanner Martin; two sisters, Linda Kay Blake and Susan Wade; a brother, Donald Blake; special friend, Millie Henry; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

In addition to her parents, Trudy is preceded in death by her son, Gregory Matthew Ogle; granddaughter, Noel Catherine Martin; and two brothers, Rob Natole and James "Jimmy" Blake.

Friends may call from 9 a.m. until time of Memorial Service at 11 a.m. Saturday, February 8, 2025, at Groff Funeral Homes & Crematory, 1607 E. Perkins Ave. Sandusky, with Pastor Mike Conklin of Zion Good News Lutheran Church officiating.

Trudy's final wish was to "pay it forward" for the care she had received throughout the years; as a result, she has given the gift of body donation to Cleveland Clinic for medical science. Private burial will be at a later date at Meadow Green Memorial Park, Huron.
