Vera Sally Adams, 91, of Greenwich, passed away Sunday, Nov. 27, 2022, at The Willows at Willard.
She was born Sept. 4, 1931, in Scranton, Pennsylvania, the daughter of Arthur Champlin and Ida (Fisher) Champlin-Phillips.
Vera worked at the former General Electric Lamp Plant in Bellevue until its closure. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Her hobbies included camping, square dancing, baking, and cleaning.
She married Emery Adams on Nov. 2, 1951, in Chinchilla, Pennsylvania, and he preceded her in death Oct. 16, 2022.
She is survived by two children, Michael (Ann) Adams of Norwalk and Michelle (Ron) Risner of Greenwich; grandchildren, Jennifer (Andrew) Kilbride, Bryan (Shannon) Adams, Elisha (Jeff) Kirk, and Shawn (Lisa) Risner; and great-grandchildren, Evelyn and Emelia Kilbride, Nolan Adams, Lindsey and Dean Kirk, and Blake and Chloe Risner; and siblings, Ed Champlin and Clara Brown, both of Pennsylvania.
Vera was preceded in death by her parents; and husband.
Friends will be received 10 a.m. Friday, Dec. 2, 2022, until Vera's funeral at 11 a.m. at St. Paul's United Church of Christ, 428 Kilbourne Street, Bellevue. Burial will follow at Bellevue Cemetery.
Memorial donations may be made to St. Paul's United Church of Christ, Bellevue, or Southern Care Hospice, 9501 US Highway 250 N, Milan, Ohio, 44846.
