I wrote about June in my personal journal Sept. 5th and I´d like to share it with you now. I deeply feel June already knows what it says because I think she heard my heart speak when I wrote it. RIP June

Fall clouds, the light is so beautiful. The leaves are turning and within all the bounty of fall beauty a massive death is at hand. Dying only to be reborn, the cycle continues for eternity. Vividly thinking of June Gladwell. Fantasia. Clearly picturing her with my mom at her bedside, and then of June as the woman who took care of us when we were children. The sweet pickles, the backyard bbq´s, the drive way hang outs by the jeep, and the helicopter ride at the county fair. Vividly I feel the joy from being lifted onto your son´s shoulders. I feel the joy now from the memories of feeling joy then. The whole household infolding us into your family with acceptance, love, and laughter. Thank you June Gladwell, thank you Harold. Thank you to the family you both made. Thank you for making a safe and happy place for us in the world when we were children on the beginning of a different journey. You were a rock we could rely on at an age in our lives when we wouldn´t have even comprehended what that meant. That was a very happy time in my life. June, you were one of the best parts of my childhood and I will be forever grateful.

So very sorry for your loss of your dear mom. I remember her from the neighbor hood growing up, always so kind.

I am so sorry to hear of June's passing. She was the sweetest person to work with I really enjoyed her and Sheriff Gladwell when I worked there for a short time. They were wonderful and kind people. The last time I saw her she had come to vote at the Board of Elections and that is where I was working. She stopped in and it was so good to see her and visit with her. I am sorry for your family's loss.
