Wendy Sue O'Hara, 51, residing in Milan, passed away Monday evening, January 6, 2025, at Stein Hospice Care Center after a courageous two-year battle with cancer.

Wendy was born June 26, 1973, in Cleveland to Michael Lewis and Sue (Byrd) Horner. She was a 1991 graduate from Edison High School and an avid sports fan who enjoyed watching the Buckeyes and Bengals. In her spare time, she enjoyed playing board games, motorcycle riding, hunting for beach glass, crocheting and baking cookies. Most of all she loved spending time with her girls, as well as her Grandma Lois.

Wendy is survived by her two daughters, Jen (Patrick Fox) Eckert and Katie O'Hara; Katie's father, Shawn O'Hara; mother, Sue Horner; father, Michael (Lori) Lewis; sisters, Tara (Kevin) Knowlton and Aleah (Troy Scott) Horner; brother, Ryan (Emily) Lewis; stepbrothers, Jake (Kayla) Parkinson and Logan Parkinson; special friend, Mark Stockmaster; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

Wendy is preceded in death by her special grandmother, Lois Lewis Beier.

Friends may call from 4-6 p.m. with a Memorial Service at 5 p.m. Monday, January 13, 2025, at Groff Funeral Homes & Crematory, 1 South Main St., Milan. Pastor Jeff Watson will be presiding.
