Wesley Lee Lofties, 76, Sandusky, passed Tuesday, May 20, 2025, at 1 p.m. Our family said goodbye to a warrior of faith, Wesley Lee Lofties, the firstborn of Walker and Juanita Lofties, who passed just eight months apart in 1979. He was born in Sandusky, December 24, 1948.

As the eldest sibling, Wesley was a pillar of quiet strength, never complaining, even through years of being bedridden. His endurance was a testament to God's grace, teaching us all lessons in patience, resilience, and unwavering trust in the Lord.

He leaves behind his devoted siblings, Floyd (Leslene), Bonita, Othel (Marseille), and Curtis (Sheri), whom all stood by him with tireless love.

He was preceded in death by his brother, George "Mike."

Though our hearts ache, we find peace in knowing that Wesley is finally free, wrapped in the arms of our Lord and Savior, JESUS CHRIST! As the Scripture says, "to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord." In these trying times, we lean on the same God who strengthened Wesley, trusting that His love will carry us forward. Rest now, brother; your fight is over; receive your crown! Your legacy of faith will live on in all of us.

Great thanks to Bella Care Hospice and Crocker Pointe in Westlake for the care and kindness they showed during his time of need. And to Providence Care Center, where he called his home for many years.

Visitation for friends and family will be from 11 a.m. until time of funeral services at noon Thursday, May 29, 2025, at Ebenezer Baptist Church, 1215 Pierce St., Sandusky. The eulogy will be by Wesley's brother, Othel Lofties. Burial to follow at Meadow Green Memorial Park, Huron, where he will be laid to rest next to his parents.
