Willard L. Hetrick, 90, of Oak Harbor, passed away Thursday, December 29, 2022, at Stein Hospice Care Center, Sandusky. He was born in Ottawa County September 18, 1932, the son of the late Ralph & Minnie L. (Goodsite) Hetrick. Willard attended Oak Harbor schools and was an eight year veteran of the U.S. Coast Guard.

A lifelong farmer, he raised cattle, and was also employed by the former Standard Products Company, Port Clinton, for many years. Willard was a member of St. Peter Lutheran Church (Blackberry), Martin, OH.

He is survived by his wife, Geraldine (Blausey) Hetrick; two daughters, Dawn (David) Bolen, Oak Harbor, and Susan (Carlos, III) Lowell, Sandusky; and two grandchildren, Zachary Bolen and Christine Bolen.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and a sister, Virginia Hetrick.

A memorial service will be announced at a later date. Those planning to make a memorial contribution are asked to please consider St. Peter Lutheran Church or The Foundation for Firelands (dedicated to the Heart Center).
