Sandusky
William H. Grahl, 90, a lifelong resident of Sandusky, passed away Tuesday morning, February 18, 2025, at The Meadows at Osborn Park.
William was born August 17, 1934, in Sandusky, to the late William F. and Susan (Breimaier) Grahl.
William graduated from Sandusky High School in 1954. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force and was honorably discharged after serving on active duty from 1955-1959. William worked different jobs during his career with the last being a maintenance man and truck driver for Betty Rinderle School and Double "S" Industries, retiring in 1993. William was a member of Sandusky AMVETS Post 17 and First Presbyterian Church. William married his wife, Marilyn, July 13, 1985. In his spare time, he enjoyed woodcarving, old cars, collecting old photos of Sandusky, Huron, and Cedar Point, and camping trips with his wife.
William is survived by his sister, Amy (Lamont) Gantt; nephews, Jeffery Gantt, John (Alexandra) Gantt, Douglas (Kelly) Gantt; niece, Debra (Ryan) Landreth; and other relatives.
In addition to his parents, William F. Grahl and Susan M. (Breimaier) Grahl; William is preceded in death by his wife, Marilyn Agnes (Krieger) Grahl on October 23, 2013.
Friends may call from 10 a.m. until the time of service at 11 a.m. Thursday, February 27, 2025, at Groff Funeral Homes & Crematory, 1607 E. Perkins Ave., Sandusky, with Pastor Robert Bottoms presiding. Burial will follow at Oakland Cemetery, Sandusky.
