Wyatt J Simons, 69, residing in Sandusky, passed away Sunday, April 20, 2025, at Stein Hospice Care Center.

Wyatt was born April 10, 1956, in Norwalk to the late Joseph and Charlotte (Good) Simons.

Wyatt was employed as a plumbing inspector at Erie County Health Department for many years. He enjoyed golfing, listening to his favorite music, boating, long drives, cooking and grilling. Most of all, he loved spending time with his family and friends.

Wyatt is survived by his daughters, Alison Simons of Norwalk and Kelsey (Jack) Beckett of Catonsville, Maryland; first wife, Claudia Simons; sister, Terrie (Tony) Pyanowski; brother, Joe (Lois) Simons; stepchildren, Lori (Zach) Terzo of St. Augustine, Florida, and Matt (Megan) Stookey of Sandusky; grandchildren, June, Nolan, Layla, and Aiden; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

In addition to his parents, Wyatt is preceded in death by wife, Pamela Simons, in 2023; and brother, Mike Simons.

Friends may call from 10 a.m. until time of memorial service at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 3, 2025, at Groff Funeral Homes & Crematory, 1607 E. Perkins Ave., Sandusky, with Pastor Wally Gilbert presiding. Burial will follow at Meadow Green Memorial Park, Huron.
