Abby Noftz, 28, of Norwalk, and formerly Huron, passed away unexpectedly Saturday, July 9, 2022.
Abby was born Feb. 4, 1994, in Norwalk. She was a 2012 Huron High School and Ehove honors graduate with a healthcare technology focus. She worked as a home health aide, waitress, and was also working toward getting certified to be a nail technician. Abby was known by most for her bubbly personality and kindness. She was loving, happy, selfless, funny, and always trying to put a smile on others faces. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, and most of all, taking care of others.
Abby is survived by a daughter, Aubriana Schmitz; parents, John Noftz and Jody Marez; sisters, Anna (Jeremy) Lehmann and Sophie Lucas; brothers, John (Ciara) Noftz and Logan Lucas; grandparents, Jerry (Rita) Thompson and John (Alice) Noftz; special great-aunt, Marsha Noftz; and numerous other aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Gracie Lucas; and great-grandparents, Vincent and Stella Smith, Eugene and Alta Noftz, and Harry and Virginia Thompson.
Family and friends may call Sunday, July 17, 2022, from 2-6 p.m. at Foster Funeral Home, 410 Main St., Huron, 44839. A graveside service will be Monday, July 18, 2022, at 10 a.m. at Scott Cemetery, Huron Avery Rd., Huron.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the family in her daughter's name, Aubrey, or to charity of one's choice.

Oh Abby how loved you were. You were truly a blessing to so so many. You are so missed. Hug my baby boy for us please until we get there. We will see you again in a better place filled with love and happiness. Watch over your babygirl brother and sisters but esp Sophie she's so young and loves you so much and that little girl has stolen my heart. I promise if she ever needs anything I'll be here for her! Rest easy love.
