Alberta Miller, 87, residing in Sandusky, passed away Tuesday afternoon, June 28, 2022, at her home surrounded by loved ones.
Alberta was born Sept. 22, 1934, in Mason, Kentucky, to the late Leonard Faul and Mildred Hessler.
Alberta retired from Troy High School, where she worked in the cafeteria. Alberta was deeply religious and her faith was important to her. She was a loving grandmother and loved spending time with her grandchilden.
Alberta will be missed and remembered by her loving husband, Arvil V. Miller, whom she married on January 16, 2010. She is also survived by her daughters, Sherry (Harry) Clark, Lisa Stout, and Shirley J. Edwards; grandchildren, John Hicks, Ashley Patterson, Kamryn Gates, and Trevor Gates; three great-grandchildren; sister, Donna Norvell; special friends, Patty Hatfield, Ann Jenks, Marcella Ralston, and Mary Blatnik; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
In addition to her parents, Alberta was preceded in death by son, Tony Yates; and brother, Emerson Wikoff.
Friends may call on Thursday, June 30, 2022 from 11:00 a.m. until the time of funeral at 12:00 p.m. at Groff Funeral Homes & Crematory, 1607 E Perkins Ave, Sandusky. Pastor Wally Gilbert will officiate. Burial will follow at Meadow Green Memorial Park, Huron.
