Alice Mary (Hay) Wikel, 83, of Sandusky and Middle Bass Island, passed away Wednesday, March 18, 2026, at Firelands Regional Medical Center after a brief illness.

She was born February 15, 1943, in Scotland, to George and Violet (Keith) Hay. She grew up in Scotland and was a personal assistant for many years. Once she moved to the United States, she enjoyed time spent on Middle Bass Island. She also loved knitting, flower gardening, High Tea, and her Standard Poodle, London. She often traveled, and London went on many of the trips.

Alice is the beloved mother of Linda Beedham, Hazel Foley, and Steven Fleming; grandmother of Laura, Alice, Emily, and the late Harry; great-grandmother of Orlagh and Sophie; and survived by many extended family members in Scotland and the United States.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister and two husbands.

Cremation will take place with no public service.
