Bellevue

David A. Didion, 78, of Bellevue, passed away Thursday, March 19, 2026, at The Bellevue Hospital. He was born April 20, 1947, in Bellevue, the son of Sylvester and Estelle (Missler) Didion.

David graduated from Bellevue High School and served in the United States Army. Following his honorable discharge, he returned to Bellevue and worked at the former Armstrong Air until its closure in 2006. He was a loving father and grandfather, with spending time with his family being his greatest joy. David's favorite pastimes included gardening, woodworking, and, especially, coin collecting.

He married Nancy (Musser) on April 17, 1971, at Immaculate Conception Church in Bellevue. She survives along with their three children, Matthew (JoAnn) Didion of Sandusky, Douglas (Amber) Didion of Pennsylvania, and Jolene (Brad) Logan of Attica; six grandchildren, Joseph, Samuel, Allison, Fynn, Mason, and Grayson; and brothers, Richard Didion, Thomas Didion, and Frank Didion.

In addition to his parents, David is preceded in death by his brothers, Robert, Donald, Michael, Gerald, Ronald and James; and sisters, Dorothy McKenzie, Betty Strohm, and Marguret Walker.

Graveside service with military honors will begin at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 28, 2026, at Bellevue Catholic Cemetery. A luncheon will immediately follow at Bellevue VFW Post 1238, 6104 US-20, Bellevue, Ohio 44811. Foos & Foos Funeral Service, Bellevue, is assisting with arrangements.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Wounded Soldiers Fund, in care of Firelands Federal Credit Union, P.O. Box 8005, Bellevue, Ohio 44811.
