very sorry to hear of Allen's passing, He was my barber for six years. I enjoyed the haircuts and most of all the conversations. His shop was a big part of my social world. My sincere sympathy to his wife and family. I am going to miss him

I just found out a little while ago that Allen had passed away. I am very sorry for your loss. He was my barber since since he started in the early 1980's. I'll miss just hanging out there with him after he was done cutting my hair and talking sports. He will be greatly missed.

Mrs. Painter and family. I'm so sadden treading that Al has passed. I so sorry for your loss. He cut my hair for the past 40 plus years. The last 23 years of me coming from Kelleys Island, prior to living in Huron. We reminisced about many things over the years, but he was never happier and proud of you and the children. He enjoyed his time as an umpire. He will be sadly missed by all the friends he made with in the Huron area. God bless him, and God bless you all.

So sorry to learn of the passing of your husband and family member. I really did not know him but as a neighbor I am thinking of you during this difficult time. As the days and weeks pass, and as you return to life's routine, may you continue to feel comforted by the love and support of family and friends.
I am sorry for your loss, with my deepest sympathy, Linda

I remember Allen as my barber in Huron. Good guy with a story to tell. Tom said he played football at Elyria in the late 60´s and remembered getting creamed for a loss by Sandusky High School great Thom Darden and Thom telling him as he layed on the ground, "welcome to the Buckeye Conference." There was a smile on his face when he told the story as I sat in his barber´s chair.
