Amelia "Sunny" (Mancinotti) Coe, 96, residing in Fremont, passed away Saturday morning, January 18, 2025, at Elmwood Assisted Living, Fremont, after a brief illness.

Amelia was born November 21, 1928, in Gibsonburg to John and Clementine (Rosa) Mancinotti.

Sunny graduated from Gibsonburg High School and married Donald E. Coe of Fremont June 10, 1950. The couple moved to Sandusky in September 1950 for his job and raised their family there.

Sunny's professional journey included roles at National Carbon in Fremont, AT&T, and WLEC Radio Station in Sandusky. Never one to sit still, even after moving to be close to her children and grandchildren Sunny continued working to stay busy.

Sunny is survived by her daughter, Debbie (Rick) Robertson; grandchildren, Sarah (Kenyon) Mumford, Stacey (Eric) Fritz, Shelby Robertson, Dan (Kelli) Robertson, Michelle (Ben) Girdler, Alex (Sam) Lyon, Mackenzie (Grant) Woltz, Ryan Coe, Julie (Nick) Fisher, and Don (Brooke) Lark. She is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren and many close nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

In addition to her parents, Sunny was preceded in death by her husband, Don; sons, Doug and Dennis; daughter-in-law Shelley; and siblings, Ann Hussar, Christena DiFonso, Antonina Ferrazzoli, Clara Hussar, and Paul Mancinotti.

A memorial service will take place at 10 a.m. Saturday, May 10, 2025, at Groff Funeral Homes & Crematory, 1607 East Perkins Ave. Sandusky. Interment will follow at Meadow Green Memorial Park, Huron.

Sonny was my brownie and girl scout leader and I was in her troop with her daughter Debbie. Lots of memories there and with the Coe and Whittaker family. Loved her much.
