Amy Leslie, 46, residing in Sandusky, passed away Thursday, April 27, 2023, at Firelands Regional Medical Center after a brief illness.
She was born Jan. 18, 1977, in Sandusky, to Luann (Leslie) Peters.
She was employed as a supervisor at Red Lobster, Sandusky. In her spare time, she enjoyed crafts, animals, cooking, thrift shopping, joking, and laughing. She enjoyed spending time with her family, friends, and pets.
Amy is survived by her mother; son, Xayvion Bridges of Sandusky; daughter, Kharis Cole of Sandusky; stepfather, Charles Peters of Sandusky; sisters, Julia Leslie of Pittsboro, Indiana, and Carrie Henry of Sandusky; brother, Chad (Melanie) Leslie of Sandusky; dad, Dennis Clifton of Sandusky; dogs, Asher and Caesar; three nephews; two nieces; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins; and many special friends.
Amy was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents; and fur baby, Lola.
Visitation will be 1 p.m. Sunday, May 7, 2023, until the time of Amy's celebration of life at 3 p.m. at First Faith Community Church, 225 East Jefferson Street. Pastor John Apple will officiate.
Groff Funeral Homes and Crematory, 1607 East Perkins Avenue, Sandusky, is assisting family with arrangements.
