Andrea Marie Lind Hyde, 100, went peacefully to be with her Lord on Wednesday, Oct. 5, 2022.

She was born Dec. 18, 1921, in Ilion, New York, to Bernhard and Dorothy Willets Lind. She grew up in Jamestown, New York, where she graduated from Jamestown High School and WCA Hospital School of Nursing.

She enlisted in U.S. Army during World War II and was stationed in England. There, she met her husband, A. Bert Hyde. They settled in Sandusky where they owned SanBay Chemical & Supply Company. She was an active member of Columbus Avenue United Methodist Church. She moved to Crossville, Tennessee, with her only daughter in 2014 and lived at Good Samaritan facility.

She is survived by one brother, Herbert "Skip" Lind (Louann); daughter, Lynne Hyde Schwaberow (Edward); three grandchildren, Chad Schwaberow (Katherine), Jamie Schwaberow (Ivory), and Andrea Eads (Jeff); and eight great-grandchildren, Savannah, Sierra, Emma, and Quinn Schwaberow, and Madilyn, Jack, Dorothy, and Guster Eads.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; three sisters; and two brothers.

A service will be planned for a later date.

Interment of ashes will be at Lakeview Cemetery in Jamestown, New York.
