Andrew C. "Drew" Hush, 42, of Sandusky, passed away unexpectedly early Friday morning, June 9, 2023, at Firelands Regional Medical Center, Main Campus, Sandusky.
Drew was born Dec. 8, 1980, in Sandusky, the son of Hans Charles "Chuck" and Frances Marie "Fran" (Ciresi) Hush. He worked in the I.T. Department at Cedar Point Amusement Park for nearly 10 years.
Drew is survived by his parents, Chuck and Fran Hush; sister, Emily (Aaron) DeHaven; two nieces, Amber Hush and Ashleigh DeHaven; paternal grandma, Sharon Hush; uncle, Mike Hush; three aunts, Jackie Ciresi, Julie St. Germaine, and Angela Hush; four cousins, Elyse, Anna, Anita, and Abby; and other relatives.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Don and Audrey Ciresi; and paternal grandfather, Charles Hush.
It was his wish to be cremated. A celebration of Drew's life will take place at a later date.
The family suggests that memorial contributions may be made in his name to American Heart Association, 1375 E. 9th Street, #600, Cleveland, Ohio, 44114.
Arrangements have been entrusted to David F. Koch Funeral and Cremation Services, 520 Columbus Avenue, Sandusky.
