Angela A. Reitz (Incorvia), 83, passed away peacefully Thursday, June 1, 2023, after a long illness.

Angela was born Nov. 27, 1939, in Sandusky, one of eight children of Phillip and Theresa Incorvia. Angela married Thomas Reitz in 1961 and together, they raised two sons, Michael and Patrick. Throughout her life, Angela was first and foremost devoted to family. She cared for her parents, shared a close bond with her brothers and sisters, and gave her love and support to everyone in her large, Sicilian family. She was a caring and compassionate mother to her children and devoted wife to Tom throughout a marriage that endured for 62 years.

Angela graduated from Sandusky St. Mary High School in 1957 and earned a teaching certificate from St. John College in Cleveland. She taught elementary students in the Catholic schools and then stopped working for a number of years to focus on raising Michael and Patrick. In mid-life, she returned to work as a bookkeeper, contributing her work ethic, organizational skills, and integrity to a local business for over 10 years. In retirement, she and Tom moved to Warren, Pennsylvania where Angela was an active member of the senior center and lived happily for 20 years before relocating to Pittsburgh more recently.

Angela is survived by her husband, Thomas; son, Patrick; grandchildren, Zoe Norris (Reitz) and Sophia Reitz; siblings, Charles, Rosemary, Phillip, Virginia, and Ann; and numerous nieces and nephews who remember her fondly.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and son, Michael.

Memorial Mass will be 10 a.m. Saturday, July 8, 2023, at St. Mary's Church in Sandusky. A private luncheon for family will follow. Angela will be interred at Meadow Green Cemetery, Huron, alongside her son, Michael.
