Bonnie Ruth (Wilson) Roll, 88, of Sandusky, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 22, 2022, at Cleveland MetroHealth Medical Center after a brief illness.

She was born Sept. 4, 1934, in Peterstown, West Virginia, to the late Samuel and Ruth (Boothe) Wilson.

Bonnie graduated from Sandusky High School in 1953. She was a homemaker, taking care of her home and family. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother. Bonnie was a member of First Faith Community Church, where she was an active member. She loved to play piano and sing. She loved crafts, going for car rides, sitting on the front porch, and was a faithful friend to many throughout the years.

Bonnie is survived by her husband of 67 years, Edwin "Sonny" Roll Jr.; children, Bill (Margie) Roll, Barry (Marla) Roll, Cindy (David) Crawford, and Rick (Beverly) Roll; nine grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

In addition to her parents, Bonnie was preceded in death by her son, Sam Roll.

Private services will take place at Toft Funeral Home & Crematory, Sandusky Chapel, 2001 Columbus Ave. with Pastor John Apple presiding. Burial will follow at Perkins Cemetery.
