Carol Ash, 83, residing in Sandusky, passed away Sunday, July 30, 2023, at home after a lengthy illness.

She was born Sept. 6, 1939, in Newburg, West Virginia.

She enjoyed crafts and was very artistic, creative, funny, and had lots of energy for being a wife, mother, grandmother, and taking care of her family.

She is survived by her daughters, Kim (Sam) Garza of Port Clinton, Stacey (Bruce) Tillman of Sandusky, and Michelle (William) Sieger of Port Clinton; eight grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; two sisters, Marilyn Haddock of Sandusky and Barb Tucker of South Carolina; brother, Paul (Sharon) Hebb of West Virginia; and several nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

In addition to her parents who raised her, Henry and Irene Davis, Carol was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Kenneth Ash in 2001; and brothers, James Hebb and Herbert Hebb.

Private family services will be conducted at a later date. Inurnment will be at Meadow Green Memorial Park, Huron.
