Carol A. Bean, 78, of Port Clinton, passed away Thursday, July 3, 2025. She was born August 11, 1946, in Port Clinton, the daughter of Russell and Dorothy (Howell) Allison. She graduated from Port Clinton High School in 1964, the first class to graduate from the new school.

Carol started working at Uniroyal in 1965 and worked there for 34 years until the plant closed in 1999. She then started working at Crown Battery in 2000 and retired in 2010. Carol was an avid volunteer for Friends of Port Clinton Cemeteries and a member of Port Clinton Eagles.

Surviving are her partner, Carl Taylor of Oak Harbor; daughter, Kim (Tom) Snider of Port Clinton; grandson, Joseph (Neil) Farkas of Grove City; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; partner, Clayton Gonya; grandson, James Farkas; sisters, Luella Pollard and Bonnie Marshall; and niece, Shelly Pollard.

Visitation will be from 3-5 p.m. Friday, July 11, 2025, at Neidecker, Crosser, & Priesman Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 1124 Fulton St., Port Clinton. Interment will be at a later date at Riverview Cemetery, Port Clinton.
