Carol J. Chesser, 82, of Willard, passed away Monday afternoon, Aug. 12, 2024, at Embassy of Willard Nursing Home, following a brief illness.

She was born Feb. 11, 1942, in Coshocton, and graduated from Margaretta High School in 1960. Carol was a homemaker and free babysitter for all of her 15 grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She would also give anyone a ride day or night. She enjoyed playing BINGO and gambling and loved spending time with her family, especially watching WWE with her special grandson, Xavier.

She is survived by her daughters, Darla Chesser and Amber (William) Barnett; sons, Donald Chesser, Edward (Debbie) Chesser, Terry (Paula) Chesser, and Thomas Campbell Jr.; 15 grandchildren; many great- and great-great-grandchildren; and brother, John Whyde.

Carol was preceded in death by her first husband, Charles "Ed" Chesser; second husband, Thomas Campbell Sr.; parents, Donald and Darlene Whyde; sister, Judy Evans; and granddaughter, Melissa Chesser.

Visitation for friends will be 2-4 p.m. Monday, Aug. 19, 2024, at Ransom Funeral & Cremation Service, 610 S. Washington St., Castalia.
