Carol A. (Trehan) Hill, 89, of Sandusky, passed away Saturday evening, June 28, 2025, at The Willows following a short illness.

She was born January 13, 1936, in Fremont, Ohio. Her parents were Marie and Howard Trehan. She married Russell (Bill) Hill in May 1954, and they enjoyed life together until his death in 2020. Her favorite times were visiting Ohio wineries with her husband, Bill, and spending time with her family, especially Christmas Day.

Carol is survived by her children, daughters, Christina Hill and Susan Osborne; sons, Steven and Michael Hill; and grandchildren, Raymond Hill, Ryan Sobczak, and Jennifer Sobczak.

Her three brothers, Richard, Jim, and Donald are deceased.

The family would like to thank The Willows at Bellevue staff for their care and patience over the last couple of months.

Per Carol's wishes, private services and cremation will take place.

Toft Funeral Home & Crematory, 2001 Columbus Ave., Sandusky, is handling arrangements.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or Sandusky County Humane Society, Fremont.
