Charles William Davis, 81, residing in Huron, passed away Sunday, March 17, 2024, after a lengthy illness.

Charles was born Jan. 19, 1943, to Charles Arthur and Edna Mae (Heckman) Davis.

Charles owned and operated Adkins & Company in Lakewood for many years. Charles was a lifelong member of Chevy Car Club. In his spare time, he enjoyed working on antique cars, photography, bird watching, and loved nature.

Charles is survived by his wife, Ann (Lovett) Davis; sons, Kent (Kathie) Davis, Mark (Karin) Davis, Tod (Rita) Davis, Troy (Maria) Davis, and Matt (Kayla Theune) Lovett; 12 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; three sisters, Nancy (Larry Watkins) Davis, Debbie (the late Michael) Willis, and Joni Davis; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Richard Davis.

Visitation for friends will be 4-7 p.m. Monday, March 25, 2024, at Groff Funeral Homes & Crematory, 1607 E. Perkins Ave., Sandusky.
