Charles Henry House, 46, of Sandusky, passed away unexpectedly Monday, June 26, 2023, at Firelands Regional Medical Center, Sandusky.
He was born April 14, 1977, in Sandusky, and graduated from Heath High School in 1995. He worked as a tool and die maker at US Tsubaki, Sandusky. Charles enjoyed spending time with his children and watching all their sporting and school events. He also liked to fish, hunt, and watch The Ohio State University Buckeyes.
He is survived by his wife, Amanda (Lynn) House; daughters, Audrey, Allie, and Amanda House; parents, Juleen (Funni) and Gary Mummey; brothers, Brad (Christin) Mummey and Eric Mummey; mother and father in-law, Becky and John Lynn; sister-in-law, Emily (Shawn) Tordi; nephews, Dominic Tordi, and soon to be nephew, baby Mummey; niece, Aurora Newcomer; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and other family and friends.
Charles was preceded in death by his father, Charles House; and grandparents.
Visitation for friends will be 1-3 and 5-8 p.m. Sunday, July 2, 2023, and 10 a.m. Monday, July 3, 2023, until the time of Charles' services at 11 a.m. at Ransom Funeral & Cremation Service, 610 S. Washington St., Castalia. Pastor Josh Bender will officiate. Burial will be at Castalia Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Erie County Humane Society, 1911 Superior St., Sandusky, Ohio, 44870, or American Heart Association, PO Box 840692, Dallas, Texas, 75284-0692.
