Clyde
Christie L. "Grammy" Denhart, 48, of Clyde, passed away unexpectedly Friday morning, Nov. 3, 2023, at her home.
She was born Aug. 1, 1975, in Sandusky, and moved to Clyde. She loved her job. She was a manager at KFC in Fremont. She also enjoyed helping her significant other, David, mow lawns in her spare time, as well as spending time with her kids and grandkids.
She is survived by her significant other, David Collins of Clyde; three children, Deana of Clyde, Melinda of Amherst, and Allison of Clyde; grandkids, Micah of Clyde, Lincoln of Amherst, and Declan of Clyde; siblings, Billy (Miranda) Tucker of Fremont and Thomas Tucker of Fremont; aunt, Debra Johnson of Sandusky; stepfather, James Stein of Sandusky; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Christie was preceded in death by her parents, Nina Tucker Stein and Robert Denhart, both of Sandusky; Billy Tucker Sr. of Huron; and sister, Kelly Tucker of Sandusky.
Visitation for friends and family will be 2 p.m. Friday, Nov. 10, 2023, until the time of Christie's funeral at 4 p.m. at Toft Funeral Home & Crematory, 2001 Columbus Ave., Sandusky.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the funeral home to help her children with the unexpected expense.
