Clara Mae Joseph, 91, of Bellevue, passed away Friday, March 24, 2023, at Willows of Bellevue.
She was born May 1, 1931, in Bellevue, the daughter of Russel and Margaret (Hanson) Moyer.
Clara Mae was a homemaker and enjoyed cooking, baking, sewing, knitting, and crocheting.
She married Wendell Joseph on Oct. 7, 1950, at Fireside United Church of Christ, and he preceded her in death.
She is survived by her sons, Thomas Joseph of Decatur, Alabama, Paul (Debra) Joseph of South Carolina, and Roger (Margo) Joseph of Avon; daughter, Sue Pickens of Evansville, Indiana; grandchildren, Heather (Joshua Shaver) Siesel, Melissa (John) Winter, Amanda (Chris) Turner, Chelsea (Nick) DeVos, Brad (Amber) Joseph, Tim Joseph, and Matt Joseph; 14 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; brothers, Edward Moyer, Melvin (Mary) Moyer, Donald Moyer, and Harold Moyer; and brother-in-law, Ray McAninch.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Russell and Margaret (Hanson) Moyer; husband, Wendell Joseph; daughter and son-in-law, Linda (Joseph) Michael Siesel; brothers and sisters-in-law, John and Marie Moyer and Dale and Susie Moyer; and sister, Carol McAninch.
Visitation will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 29, 2023, until the time of Clara's funeral at 1 p.m. at Zion UCC Fireside, 13525 TR 178, Bellevue. Burial will follow at Fireside Cemetery.
