Daniel Beese Obituary

Daniel Joseph Beese Sr.

Jun 22, 1988 - Mar 8, 2024

Sandusky

Daniel Joseph Beese Sr., 35, of Sandusky, passed away unexpectedly early Friday afternoon, March 8, 2024, at Firelands Regional Medical Center, Main Campus, Sandusky.

Daniel was born June 22, 1988, in Sandusky, the son of Richard George and Catherine (Barone) Beese. He was a 2006 graduate of Perkins High School. Daniel was one of a kind, nobody quite like him. His laugh was infectious and could make any one smile. He had a "BIG HEART" and would help anyone if they asked. Daniel was a cook having worked over the years at The Great Wolf Lodge, Castalia Trout Club, Bay Harbor, and later at Sawmill.

Daniel was an avid Cleveland Browns fan and enjoyed traveling to see his friends. He loved learning how to play new instruments and was a master at "Guitar Hero." Daniel was a great cook and made a mean Mac and Cheese. But most of all, he loved being a dad. He enjoyed spending time with his son, Daniel Jr. They were two peas in a pod, going to the park to play, playing pokemon go, taking his faithful dog, Leia, for a ride or walk or just hanging out side by side. He was definitely one of the good ones taken way to soon. Daniel will be truly missed and will be forever in our hearts.

He is survived by his son, Daniel J. Beese Jr.; parents; brother, Nathan (Linda Winland) Beese; sister, Jessica (Scott) Eckert; three nieces, Sophia, Josephine, and Avery; two nephews, Teaghan and Noah; companion, Kelly Cherry and her son, Alex; and several aunts, uncles, and other relatives.

Daniel was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Rosario and Josephine (Buscema) Barone; and paternal grandparents, Richard and Marion (Brownell) Beese Sr.

Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. Friday, March 15, 2024, at David F. Koch Funeral and Cremation Services, 520 Columbus Avenue, Sandusky. Daniel's funeral will be 10 a.m. Saturday, March 16, 2024, at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, 510 Columbus Avenue, Sandusky. Deacon Phil Dinovo will officiate. It was his wish to be cremated following the services. Interment will be at a later date.

The family suggests that memorial contributions may be made in his memory to Humane Society of Erie County, 1911 Superior Street, Sandusky, Ohio, 44870, or Erie County Dog Pound, 2900 Columbus Avenue, Sandusky, Ohio, 44870.

My most heartfelt condolences to Dan's family. We were co workers at Sawmill Creek. He had the most infectious smile and laugh. He will be TRULY missed. Most of our conversations ended with him talking about his son. He loved that little guy. My prayers are forever with and for your family.
