David Allen Ross, 70, residing in Sandusky, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 12, 2024, at his residence.

He was born March 19, 1954, in Sandusky, to Paul Eugene and Mary Lou (Tracey) Ross.

David graduated from Sandusky High School. He worked at various mechanical jobs, most recently in maintenance at the Sandusky Mall, before retiring in 2016. David could be found most often in his workshop, rebuilding a lawnmower or a mini-bike. He enjoyed riding recreational vehicles, fishing, and walking along Pipe Creek, but his favorite activity was attending demolition derbies with Ronald, Rich and his nephew, Ronald J. Ross.

David is survived by his siblings, Mary Ann (Wayne) Kromer of Tiffin, Paul Eugene (Debra) Ross Jr. of Sandusky, Rita Marie Ross of Austin, Texas, Janet Ross Nagy of Brooklyn, Ohio, Ronald (Jennifer) Ross of Huron, and Richard (Lavinda) Ross of Clyde; two nieces; several nephews; and great-nieces, great-nephews, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents; grandparents; and great-nephew, Ryan Ross.

At David's request, cremation will take place. Private family services will take place.

Groff Funeral Homes & Crematory will be assisting family with arrangements.
