Debbie Sue (Gregory) Lagacé, 58, of Norwalk, lost her battle to an aggressive cancer Monday, Jan. 8, 2024, at her residence surrounded by loved ones.

She was born May 1, 1965, in Norwalk, and was a 1983 graduate of Monroeville High School. Debbie had a variety of occupations throughout her lifetime. She was an amazing mother, sister, and grandmother. Her grandkids were everything to her. Their life will never be the same without her, but she is at peace with herself. Fly high Angel until we meet again.

Her hobbies included crocheting, making blankets, visiting her grandkids in Pennsylvania, and going to zoos and fairs.

She is survived by her children, Christine Mortensen of Girard, Pennsylvania, Katy (Shane) Ronto of Edinboro, Pennsylvania, and Link (Angie) Lagacé Jr. of Norwalk; three grandchildren, Edis, Bella, and Lacey; three siblings, Kim (David) Stang and Sherrie (Donavon) Karnehm, both of Monroeville, and Jim (Wendy) Gregory of Norwalk; and nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

Debbie was preceded in death by her parents, Gary and Carol (Shelly) Gregory.

Visitation for friends will be 10 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 13, 2024, until the time of Debbie's memorial service at 12 p.m. at Pfeil Funeral Home, Monroeville Chapel, 109 Monroe Street, Monroeville. Pastor Roger Rice will officiate. Burial will follow at Riverside Cemetery, Monroeville.
