Delores Beese Stover, 83, of Dunn Loring, Virginia. Passed away Tuesday, January 13, 2026, at ILIFF Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Dunn Loring, Virginia.

She was born July 16, 1942, in Willard, Ohio, to the late Ed G and Alma (Pittinger) Stover. She was a 1960 graduate of Willard High School. She was raised on a farm and enjoyed the country lifestyle throughout her life. She always had a garden wherever she lived and raised chickens, miniature dachshunds and Tennessee walker horses at different points in her life.

She enjoyed spending quality time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She also enjoyed going to county fairs and town festivals when she lived in or visited northern Ohio. When she was with family and friends, she enjoyed playing euchre and many different types of card and board games. Later in life, she enjoyed watching crime dramas and game shows on television.

She worked many years in restaurants as a waitress and worked for a company that ran assisted living homes for adults with disabilities. When she moved to Annandale, Virginia, she began working at Foxes Music Store. She loved being around and helping people her whole life.

She is survived by her sons, Robert (Sandy) Beese, Brent (Kathleen) Beese, both of Norwalk and Russell Beese of Annandale, Virginia. Her stepdaughters, Sharon (John) Merrilees, Cynthia (Dave) Eaton, and Jamie Schaffer, all of Norwalk and 10 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Thurl Stover; and an infant son, James A. Beese Jr., in 1961.

Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. Sunday, March 22, 2026, at Maple Grove Cemetery in New Haven.
