Dennis P. Billups, 67, of Berlin Heights, passed away Sunday, Oct. 15, 2023, at Mill Manor, Vermilion.
He was born June 26, 1956, in Sandusky, to James L. and Ruth M. (Keesee) Billups. He graduated from Edison High School in 1974.
He was employed by Ford Motor Company in Lorain, Local 425, and also worked for the Ohio Turnpike.
Dennis loved to ride his motorcycle, go fishing and hunting, tinkering with all his cars and whatever he could find to fix, and most of all, spending time with his family.
He is survived by his wife and soulmate of 30 years, Robin (Moore, nee Hock) Billups; daughters, Stephanee (Robb) Koscho and Terra (Jeremy) Jones; grandchildren, Josephina Koscho, Bo Music, and Elizabeth Music; sisters, Willa Ruth Kulicke and special brother-in-law, Dieter, and Pekah Faye (Leroy) Bugger; longtime friend, John "L.J." Simko; and several nieces and nephews.
Dennis was preceded in death by his parents; and Francis Isabelle (Donald) Whisman, Ella Mae (Troy) Higginbotham, Edward Allen (Maggie) Billups, James Perry Billups, and Danny Lawson Billups.
Visitation will be 2-5 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 21, 2023, at Toft Funeral Home, Hinman Chapel, 38 South St., Berlin Heights, Ohio, 44814.
Memorial contributions may be to Cancer Services of Erie County, 905 W. Perkins Ave., Sandusky, Ohio, 44870.
