Dennis Allen Palmer, 68, Sandusky, transitioned after a lengthy illness from his earthly home Friday, Dec. 20, 2024, at Stein Hospice Care Center surrounded by his family. He was born Sept. 18, 1956, to the late Cleveland "Clayborn" and Daisy Palmer. We give praise to God that he recently found salvation in his golden years.

Dennis earned his GED and went on to earn his certification as an electrician. His previous employment at Universal Clay and Ohio Veterans Home allowed him to develop his trade and find a new hobby with painting which he took pride in. Dennis found delight in watching cowboy westerns and fantasy fiction in his favorite recliner in addition to pastimes of fishing for crappies, riding his bicycle, and playing cards. He was a suave individual and a wordsmith who never forgo any chance to converse with family and friends. He was immensely proud of his children and always encouraged them to "do better than him."

Dennis leaves to cherish his memory wife, Donna Graves Palmer; his children, DeNero Aaron of Sandusky, Ebony Brown of Florida and Sheena Palmer of Columbus; grandchildren, Kimora Hunter, Kendall Aaron, Kensley Aaron and Linden Aaron all of Sandusky; siblings, Emily Jean Palmer, Kenneth (Midge) Palmer of Cleveland, Danny (Jeanne) Palmer, Janice Green, Karen (James) Churchwell and Ingred Sherry Palmer all of Sandusky and Theresa Palmer-Ross of Arizona. He also leaves to cherish his memories, nieces, nephews, and a host of in-laws. Dennis will be missed by family and a plethora of friends whose memories will live on forever in our hearts.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Milton Dale Palmer; and sisters, Tamara Ann Jackson and Jane Palmer.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the celebration of his life at 12 p.m. Monday, Dec. 30, 2024, at Toft Funeral Home & Crematory, 2001 Columbus Avenue, Sandusky.
