Sandusky
Dominick P. Esposito, 76, residing in Sandusky, passed away early Saturday morning, Sept. 2, 2023, at Stein Hospice after a brief illness.
He was born Aug. 25, 1947, in Sandusky, to Michael and Mary (Wright) Esposito.
He was a graduate of Perkins High School. He retired from New Departure Hyatt GM plant following 30 years of service as a supervisor. Dominick was a member of Sandusky Lodge of Elks No. 285 and Harley Owners Group. In his spare time, he enjoyed Harleys, traveling, fixing things, Ohio State Buckeyes, and spending time with his family and friends.
He is survived by his wife, Cindy (King) Esposito, whom he married in 1981; mother, Mary Esposito of Sandusky; daughters, Dawn Esposito of Sandusky, Beth Perrin-Esposito of Florida, and Michelle (David) Denslow of Castalia; son, Domenic Esposito of Sandusky; grandchildren, Ramon, Harley, Noah, Todd, and Coby; great-grandchild, River; sisters, Kathleen (Jim) Sumser of Sandusky, Severia (Joe) Cassel of Sandusky, Heidi (Lewis) Peters of Sandusky, and Amy Esposito of Sandusky; sister-in-law, Sherry Esposito of Sandusky; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
Dominick was preceded in death by his parents; father, Michael P. Esposito; brother, Michael D. Esposito; and granddaughter, Tiffany Wirsche.
Visitation for friends will be 10 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 7, 2023, until the time of Dominick's services at 12 p.m. at Groff Funeral Homes & Crematory, 1607 E. Perkins Ave., Sandusky, with Pastor Wally Gilbert presiding. Burial will follow at Meadow Green Memorial Park, 2602 Bogart Road, Huron, Ohio, 44839.
