Donald "Don" A. Burrier, 91, of Huron, passed away peacefully Tuesday, Oct. 18, 2022, after a long life filled with so much love and happiness from family and friends.

He was born Sept. 30, 1931, in Waymart, Pennsylvania, to Augustine and Pearl (Mosher) Burrier. He met the love of his life, Virginia, and they married Oct. 3, 1954. Together, they had four beautiful children.

Don served in U.S Army during the Korean War. After, he worked as a Foreman at New Departure Hyatt for 35 years. He loved watching Cleveland Browns, Indians, and Cavaliers. He never missed the 5 o'clock news or the chance to take his family camping on the weekends. Most of all, he was a family man and he instilled that in his children and grandchildren.

Don is survived by four children, Darlene (Mike) Boggs of Delaware, Ohio, Debra Burrier of Delaware, Ohio, Rita (Frank) Green of Sandusky, and Donald Burrier Jr. of Huron; six grandchildren, Debbie (Rob) Forest of Delaware, Ohio, Britni Macek of Delaware, Ohio, Brooke (Kyle) Smetzler of Clyde, Jaide Alexander of Sandusky, Haley Burrier of Cleveland, Ohio, and Jenna Burrier of Lakewood; and six great-grandchildren, Cameron, Bryson, Braydon, Keldon, Kinsley, and Boone.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and beautiful wife, Virginia "Jean" Burrier.

Family and friends may call 10 a.m. - 12 p.m. Monday, Oct. 24, 2022, at Foster Funeral Home & Crematory, 410 Main St., Huron, Ohio, 44839. Burial services will follow visitation at Scott Union Cemetery, Huron Avery Rd.
