Donald Lamar Young, 63, Fremont, formerly of Sandusky, passed away Saturday, May 3, 2025, in ProMedica Toledo Hospital.

He was born January 6, 1962, in Sandusky to the late Donald R. and Ann (Stowers) Young.

Don was a veteran of the U.S. Army.

He was employed by many different organizations and most recently he was a security guard for the Sandusky Yacht Club.

Don loved fishing, cooking, and barbequing on the grill.

He is survived by his children, Dacomis R. Young, Florida, Bryant M. Young, Texas, Alise N. Young, Florida, and DorShwn Frazier, Sandusky; four grandchildren; a sister, Denise Young, Sandusky; brother, Jonathan "Jon" P. Young, Fremont; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

At his request, there will be no services, and cremation will take place. Toft Funeral Home & Crematory, 2001 Columbus Ave., Sandusky, is handling the arrangements.
