Donna Jean Morefield, 85, residing in Sandusky, passed away Monday, March 3, 2025, at Firelands Regional Medical Center.

Donna was born March 25, 1939, in Toms Creek, Virginia, to the late Harris and Watha Sabra (Kennedy) Richardson.

Donna attended Coeburn High School in Virginia. Donna was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Sandusky. In her spare time, she enjoyed quilting and spending time with her family.

Donna is survived by her daughters, Felicia Fowler of Huron and Lori (Randy) Gilmore of Sandusky; son, Michael (Juliana) Morefield of Huron; six grandchildren, Stacy (Troy) Murphy, Amanda Adler, Ashley Adler, Austin Adler, Graeme Morefield and Avery Morefield; two great-grandchildren, Taylor Murphy and Makenna Murphy; sister, Ginger Richardson of Huron; brother, Larry (Chris) Richardson of Berlin Heights; and special niece, Rhonda Carnicom of Fremont; and numerous other relatives.

In addition to her parents, Donna is preceded in death by her husband, John "Toby" Morefield in 2017; her four sisters, Arita Payne, Jackie Payne, Helen Richardson and Bea Maness; and two brothers, Johnny Richardson and Bob Richardson.

Friends may call from 4-7 p.m. Monday, March 10, 2025, at Groff Funeral Homes & Crematory, 1607 E. Perkins Ave., Sandusky. Friends may also call from 10 a.m. until time of service at 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 11, 2025, at Groff Funeral Homes & Crematory, with Pastor David Hixson and Ray Enderle presiding. Burial will follow at Meadow Green Memorial Park, Huron.
