Eddie Rogers "Bo" Fisher, 70, of Fremont, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, Oct. 3, 2023, at his home after a lengthy illness.

He was born July 11, 1953, in Meridian, Mississippi, to Mary Amison. Bo graduated from Middleton High School in Meridian. He moved from Meridian to Sandusky at a young age, then later moved to Fremont where he was employed by Sandusky County Engineering, retiring after 30 years of service.

Bo accepted Christ at an early age. He was a member of Mt. Pleasant Missionary Baptist Church where he served under Pastor Norwood and now under the leadership of Pastor Brazzel. Bo had a passion for baseball. He played, coached, and umpired for a number of years. He also enjoyed shooting pool and was in a league. He was a faithful member of Night Riders Motorcycle Club and often took trips across the country on his motorcycle. He enjoyed fishing and spending time with his grandsons.

He is survived by his loving wife, Vicky Fisher of Fremont; daughters, Carmelita (Brian) Copeland of Warren, Donna (Pastor Reginald) Taylor of Columbus, Letha Fisher of Sandusky, and India Fisher of Fremont; son, Tyrese Adam Fisher of Fremont; stepson, Clarence Hill of Columbus; sisters, Dianne Rodriguez, Gerld Lean Johnson, Lora (Leon) Cooley, Tracy Amison, and Angela (Robert) Griggs; brothers, Tony Ray Fisher, Marco Amison, and Maurice (Brittany) Wilson; sisters-in-law, Armon Miller and Leigh Miller; 13 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, and all his special friends that he held near and dear to his heart.

Bo was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Amison; sister, Mary Jaqueline Fisher; and son, Donald Brown.

Visitation for friends will be 6-8 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 12, 2023, at Toft Funeral Home & Crematory, 2001 Columbus Ave., Sandusky, and 10 a.m. Friday, Oct. 13, 2023, until the time of Bo's service at 12 p.m. at Ebenezer Baptist Church, 1215 Pierce St., Sandusky. Dr. Scottie L. Aaron of Columbus will officiate. Burial will follow at Meadow Green Memorial Park, Huron.
