Edward H. "Eddie" Jeremy, 74, of Port Clinton, passed away Friday, June 6, 2025, at Mercy Health - St. Vincent Medical Center, Toledo. He was born November 12, 1950, in Port Clinton, the son of Clarence and Hazel (Snider) Jeremy. He attended the University of Vincennes immediately following graduation from Port Clinton High School. He married Patricia Lorah January 21, 1976, and she preceded him in death September 18, 2007.

Eddie worked many years at the family business, Jeremy's Marina, as a construction manager. He worked for the City of Port Clinton Street Department for 30 years, retiring in 2012. Previously, he worked for Port Clinton Police Department as a dispatcher and reserve officer, as well as for Port Clinton EMS. He was a Sea Scouts Leader and enjoyed reading, watching westerns and woodworking.

Surviving are his children, Jean (Terry) Schall of Warrenton, Missouri, Faith L. (William) Yost of Port Clinton, Brion W. (Rebecca) Ronto of Sandusky; grandchildren, April, Zach, Christopher, Brittany, Megan, Kristen, Jennah, and Ethan; great-grandchildren, Jocelyn, Alana, Carson, Leia, Dean, and Hermione; great-great-grandchildren, Percy and Harlie; siblings, Clair Jeremy of Port Clinton and Francine (Ed) Chapman of Lakeside; nephews, Benjamin (Heather) Chapman of Michigan and Scott (Michelle) Chapman of Florida.

He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Vincent Martin Ronto Jr.; and grandson, Kyle.

Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Friday, June 13, 2025, at Neidecker, Crosser & Priesman Funeral Home, 1124 Fulton St. Port Clinton, where visitation will be from 11 a.m. until time of service Friday. Interment will follow at Riverview Cemetery, Port Clinton. Fr. Jonathon Wight will be officiating.
