Elizabeth Ann "Taz" Decker, 54, residing in Sandusky, passed away Friday, January 10, 2025, at Magruder Hospital after a lengthy illness.

Elizabeth was born January 18, 1970, in Sandusky to the late John Decker and Carolyn (Farrison) Decker.

Beth graduated from Perkins High School, working at several jobs including Cedar Point, before her health started to decline. She stayed true to her love of the Cleveland Browns and Ohio State Buckeyes, and whenever she could, she continued rooting for the Perkins Pirates football team and listening to the Pirate Band. She also loved going fishing with her friends. Her pride and joy were her two cats, they were her life, Sebastian John and Oliver Thomas.

Elizabeth is survived by her sister, Susan (Eric) Schippel; brother, Chris (Crecia) Decker; two nephews, Brad Smith-Schippel and Ethan Decker; and niece, Mikayla (Austin Clouse) Schippel. She is also survived by her stepmom, Darlene Decker; stepsister, Kim Hiemstra; stepbrothers, John (Tracey) Henley and Tom Henley; aunt, Sophie Knauer; her cousins, Doug (Liz) Knauer, Skip (Cecelia) Dietrick, Char (John) Stout; aunt, Beverly (Bee) Decker; cousin, Cindy (Mike) Hasenmeier; aunt, Bette McGoldrick; and many other relatives.

In addition to her parents, Elizabeth is preceded in death by both sets of grandparents, Nevin and Mary Decker and Robert and Janet Farrison; and two uncles, Jerry Decker and Robert Knauer.

A private family celebration will take place. Groff Funeral Homes and Crematory will be assisting with arrangements.
