Frances Hall Fritz, 89, of Sandusky, passed away Saturday, May 13, 2023, at Providence Care Center after a lengthy illness.

She was born July 2, 1933, in Hazelton, Pennsylvania, to Charles and Martha (Williams) Hall and was raised in Lansford, Pennsylvania.

Frances graduated from the Allentown Business School and was employed as a secretary by JR Grace Co. for over 30 years. Frances was a member of Episcopal Church of the Mediator in Allentown for many years. She enjoyed reading, politics, and visits to art museums and Broadway shows in New York City. She was loving, compassionate, and generous to anyone in need.

Frances is survived by her daughter, Linda Fritz-Gasteier of Sandusky; son-in-law, Chris Gasteier, whom she regarded as a son, of Sandusky; grandchildren, Gretchen Gasteier of New Orleans, Louisiana, Jefferson "J.J." Gasteier of Washington D.C., and Peter Gasteier of Sandusky; brother-in-law, Gabriel Fritz and his wife, Dolores, of Lansford, Pennsylvania; and several nieces and nephews.

Frances was preceded in death by her parents; husband of 53 years, Francis J. Fritz in 2013; and son, John Anthony in 2012.

At Frances' request, cremation will take place. Burial will be at Resurrection Cemetery, Allentown, Pennsylvania. Family graveside services will take place at a later date.
