George A. Klotz, 66, residing in Vickery, passed away Tuesday, June 6, 2023, at Stein Hospice Care Center after a lengthy illness.

George was born Dec. 8, 1956, in Sandusky, to Billy and Betsy (Roberts) Klotz.

He was a veteran of U.S. Army who proudly served his country during peace time. He was employed at the Ventra plant in Sandusky. George enjoyed camping, going out to eat, and surfing the internet. He especially enjoyed spending time with family and friends.

George is survived by his son, Jesse (Ali) Klotz of Norwalk; grandchildren, Julianna, Karleigh, and Emberlyn Klotz; sister, Linda Klotz of Clyde; brother, Timothy Klotz of Vickery; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

George was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Barry Klotz; and sister, Paulette Loach.

Visitation will be 4 p.m. Monday, June 12, 2023, until the time of George's memorial service at 5 p.m. at Harvest Baptist Temple, 1022 S. Main St., Clyde, Ohio, 43410, with Pastor Allen Holmes presiding.

Groff Funeral Homes & Crematory, Sandusky, is handling arrangements for family.
