Add a Memory
In loving memory of Gerald “Jerry” Flemma, of Fox Point, WI, who passed away on Tuesday, December 10, 2024 at the age of 59. Jerry attended The Kent School in Connecticut for high school and then went on to study at Amherst College in Massachusetts, where he was captain of the lacrosse team. Jerry proudly worked as President and COO of Jacobson/Rost Advertising for 27 years, growing a regional firm into a national name.
Jerry’s great love was the outdoors and to him true joy was time spent with friends and family on a fishing boat or in a deer stand. His perfect day would include cigars, laughter, tall tales, Leinies and a trophy fish or chasing a buck.
A dedicated father to Mia and Nicolo, a beloved partner to Louisa Marks, a devoted son to mother MaryAnn, cherished “step-dad” to Charlotte, Caroline and Camille Marks; and brother to Robert, Saverio (Celeen), Margo, and Tom (Diana) Flemma. Jerry was predeceased by his father Robert and brother Nicholas.
A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, December 19, 2024 at Milwaukee Country Club (8000 N. Range Line Rd. River Hills, Wisconsin) at 5:00pm.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts to support Jerry’s oncologist, Dr. Ben George’s Pancreatic Cancer Research, can be made to the Medical College of Wisconsin, Attn: Office of Institutional Advancement, P.O. Box 26509, Milwaukee, WI 53226-0509.

Jerry was a great friend, always filling the room with laughter. His presence was second-to-none and he never failed to lift the spirits of everyone around him. At the last meal that I shared with Jerry, he gave a toast and said "it doesn't matter how long you have known somebody, it only matters how much they care." Those words and many great memories with Jerry will remain in my heart forever. He will be deeply missed.
