Gladys Jean Lawson Toler, 90, of Berlin Heights, passed away Monday, February 17, 2025, at Fisher-Titus Memorial Hospital, Norwalk. She was born April 29, 1934, in Clear Fork, West Virginia, the daughter of the late William Richard and Glada Elizabeth Dillon Lawson. In addition to her parents, Gladys is preceded in death by her loving husband of 64 years, Peter L. Toler; a sister, Mary Lawson Church-Hill; a daughter, Elizabeth Toler; and a grandson, Lloyd Christopher Lawson.
She is survived by her daughter, Deborah McArdle (James); son, William Lawson (Paulette); grandchildren, Catherine McArdle, David McArdle (Crystal), Sara Grigg (Brandon), and Kevin Lawson (Melinda); great-grandchildren Jessica, Johnathan, Tara, Kyle, Alex, Brittany, Kaili, and Zac; great-great-grandchildren, Annabeth Leigh, and Savannah Grace; and a host of other loving family and friends.
Funeral service will be at 12:30 p.m. Thursday, February 27, 2025, in the Chapel of Stafford Family Funeral Home, Lynco, West Virginia, with the Rev. Brad Hayes officiating. She will be laid to rest in Palm Memorial Gardens, Matheny, West Virginia. Friends may gather with the family from 11:30 a.m. until time of service Thursday at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be family and friends.
