Gloria Fay Lawson, 81, of Bellevue, passed away Saturday, July 23, 2022 at University of Toledo Medical Center. She was born June 20, 1941, in Wayland, Kentucky, the daughter of Virgil and Hester (Salyers) Rice.
Gloria worked for many years as a STNA. She enjoyed being with friends and family especially going out to dinner with them. In her later years, she enjoyed playing games on the computer.
She is survived by her brother, Paul Rice of Huron; and sister, Peggy Czeczeli of Bellevue.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Jeffery Lawson whom she married Nov. 11, 1989, at Fellowship Baptist, Sandusky; sons, Michael, Timothy, and Scott Harkleroad; and siblings, Marvin Rice, James Rice, Clyde Rice, Herman Rice, Reba Rapp, Charlotte Alexander, Edna Salyers, Deborah Green, and Dorothy Lafferty.
Friends will be received Saturday, July 30, 2022, from 1 p.m. until Gloria's funeral at 4 p.m. at Foos & Foos Funeral Service, 151 Yorkshire Place, Bellevue. Burial will be at Scott Cemetery at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family to assist with funeral cost.
