Hallie A. Wade, 67, of Sandusky, passed away peacefully Saturday, Nov. 5, 2022, at home surrounded by her family.

She was born June 25, 1955, in Sandusky, and was a 1973 graduate of the former St. Mary's Central Catholic High School. In 1983, Hallie graduated from Sandusky School of Nursing as a LPN. She was employed at many of the area nursing homes over the years. Hallie's hobbies included gardening, crafts, antiquing, and spending time with family and friends. She has loved all dogs.

She is survived by her husband of 46 years, Marvin Wade of Sandusky; three children, Keith (Angie) Wade, Amanda (Jason) Herb, and Rebecca Wade, all of Sandusky; seven grandchildren, Michael, Abby, Devin, Carson, Jerret, Alayna, and Ava; great-grandson, Grayson; and two siblings, Bartt Carruthers and Carrie (Terry) Wade.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Virginia (Nugent) Carruthers.

Friends may call 10 a.m. - 12 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 9, 2022, at Pfeil Funeral Home, Sandusky Chapel, 617 Columbus Avenue, Sandusky. Hallie's service will be 12 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home and Pastor Ben Patrick will officiate. Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery, Sandusky.

Memorial contributions may be made to Humane Society of Erie County, 1911 Superior Street, Sandusky, Ohio, 44870.
