Our country has sent a hero into the skies after extraordinary service to his country and his fellow human beings. I am so grateful that he touched my life, among so many.
In the summer of 2022, I sang in Michael Shirtz's tribute concert to Harold in Lakeside Chatauqua, "Keep Your Airspeed Up," an amazing experience. Despite his heroic and outstanding achievements in many areas, Dr. Brown remained humble and loyal to his community, deciding to be laid to rest in Port Clinton, although he could have been honored with a site in Arlington Cemetery. I hope to visit his gravesite this summer to pay personal tribute to him, a great public servant, educator, citizen, airman, and human being. "Off you go," Lt. Col. Brown, and Godspeed!Barbara R. Martin, Fort Thomas,KY.

I attended one your speeches at Lakeside, with my daughter and was proud to shake your hand.
I too spent 30 years in aviation and was always a huge fan of the Tuskegee Airmen. Rest in peace Dr. Brown, soar high and touch the face of God.

Got to visit with him one fine saturday morning at Port Clinton Airport. Soft spoken, you'd never suspect his accomplishments / experiences. A quiet hero. Never quit. Rode the horse right up to heaven's gate!

Dear Marsha and Family,
We are so very sorry for your loss --may all the wonderful memories of Harold you cherish keep his spirit alive in your hearts. I had the pleasure and honor of meeting the two of you and hearing Harold speak at the Aviation Museum last May when I brought a group of seniors on a bus tour. Everyone enjoyed his presentation, I treasure the autographed copy of your book that I bought----his spirit is living on with us. May our Lord continue to keep you in his care. Harold surely has a place of honor in Heaven, for all the years of service to his brothers and sisters in arms and our country as a whole--he is someone SPECIAL!! God Bless!

Dr Brown served as a consultant for Ohio Career Colleges and Schools during my tenure as Executive Director. He was a proponent of Career Education. This was taken during his book signing at Columbus State. I adored Dr Brown his life and his legacy.
Well done !

What a wonderful person to learn from. As a pilot myself I could have learned so much from him.
May you forever have clear skies and no turbulence.
