Harry Paul Lucal, 84, residing in Milan, passed away Monday, January 19, 2026, at Ohio Veterans Home.

Paul was born April 2, 1941, in Sandusky, to the late Harry Alvin and Marian Marjorie (Schaefer) Lucal.

Paul was a veteran of the United States Navy, serving proudly as a Corpsman at Great Lakes during the Vietnam War. He later retired as a machinist from New Departure Hyatt after 32 years of dedicated service. Paul was a member of Erie County Conservation League and UAW Local 913. In his spare time, he enjoyed watching The Ohio State Buckeyes, shooting, working on small engines, watching old westerns, reading, and listening to country music. Above all, he cherished spending time with his family and friends.

Paul is survived by his daughter, Michele (Tim) Wojnar of Milan and son, Todd Lucal of Columbus. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Micaela Wojnar and Nicholas Wojnar of Milan; sister, Mary Heschel of Oak Harbor; sister-in-law, Linda Lucal of Sandusky; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

In addition to his parents, Paul is preceded in death by his wife, Judy (Krawetzki) Lucal, in 2023; his brother, Robert Joel Lucal; and his brother-in-law, Steve Heschel.

Friends may call from 10 a.m. until time of Memorial Service at 11 a.m. Friday, January 23rd, 2026, at Groff Funeral Homes & Crematory, 1607 E. Perkins Ave., Sandusky with Pastor Jeff Watson presiding. He will be laid to rest with his late wife, Judy, at Perkins Cemetery, Sandusky.
