Hascell Stumbo, 81, of Norwalk, passed away Wednesday, December 3, 2025, at Norwalk Memorial Home.

He was born May 11, 1944, in Floyd County, Kentucky, to the late General "Buck" and Marie (Tuttle) Stumbo. He lived in Norwalk for over 50 years, where he raised his family, was a member of the Willard United Baptist Church, and served on the church finance committee. He worked at R+L Carriers in Norwalk and retired after many years. He enjoyed spending time with his family, golfing, fishing, mushroom hunting, and the outdoors.

He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Linda L. (Lynch) Stumbo; daughters, Karen (Kevin) Krupp of Norwalk, Sheina (Mark) Adelman of Norwalk, and Leslie (Nick) Meyer of Milan; grandchildren, Timothy (Jenn), Jesse (Tiphanie), Julie, Gage and Quinn; siblings, Verd, Janis (Dave), Corwin, Ricky (Ruth), and Jeff (Mariann); nieces, nephews, and great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and twin daughters in infancy, Alma and Alva; siblings, Gladys, Dennis, Feris, and Kenny.

Visitation for family and friends will be from 4-6 p.m. Friday, December 12, 2025, at Evans Funeral Home, 314 E. Main Street, Norwalk. Funeral service will begin at 11 a.m. Saturday, December 13, 2025, at Willard United Baptist Church, 1579 S. Conwell Avenue, Willard, with Pastor Danny Hamilton officiating. Burial will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery in New Haven.
